Programs
1.Health Programs: Put together the programs available so that the community may access and
benefit from them.
2.Immigration Program: Help the community in filling out immigration forms and follow through with
them in their scheduled appointments and requirements and refer them to the correct professionals
needed.
3.Cultural and Social Programs:
A) Languages: Integrating the Canadian community through the teaching of the different latin
languages while encouraging families to maintain knowledge of their native tongue.
B) Music: Create music workshops to educate the Latin community so that they may keep their
Latin roots.
C) Dance: Encourage knowledge of the Latin folklore, making it possible for families to keep their
culture.
D) Art: Put the community in touch with Latin art, so that they may develop their latin identity and
integrate it into Canadian culture.
E) Sport: Encourage participation of all sports in a safe environment and develop respect for the
sports while keeping in mind the main objective of having fun.
F) Social Assistance: Assist in the settlement of newcomers to Barrie and Surrounding areas, through
orientation of various programs and housing services. Create a job bank data posting. Create a
bank of childcare resources. Provide social assistance programs for families and youth. Create
assistance to people with drugs and addiction problems.

2.Programa de inmigración: Ayudarle a la comunidad Latina para llenar formularios y darle
seguimiento a las citas que se les asignen y referirlos a los de Inmigración que estén disponible.
